You have to fix set these in WORD
Options|Proofing|AutoCorrect|AutoFormatAsYouType.

Thanks, Jan, but where on the keyboard are "curly quotes"?

Doesn't it depend on what type of print quotes you are dealing with.
Straight/nondirectional or curly/directional.

I work in WORD before DXP and mine are coming out just fine. You might try
making curly quotes in word and copy and paste them into your DXP file.

Debra,
That’s a good question. If someone answers you off list please let us all know.

Debby, I misunderstood your answer originally. I'm looking for what we should
type in the print file (the .dxp file) so that when we hit Control T to
translate it into UEB, we get the correct single opening quote and single
closing quote in braille. Does anyone know?

Single opening quote is 6, 236 (type comma, 8)
Single closing quote is 6, 356 (type comma, 0)

What should we be typing in print to get the proper single quotes in UEB
braille? I'm used to using the apostrophe on the keyboard for both the opening
and closing single quote, but they translate as apostrophes.
