Mike, some have keyboards that accept sixkey and some have keyboards
that don't.

You can sometimes make things work by using a six-key set other than the
default. For instance, my laptop's keyboard will allow me to use
w-e-r-u-i-o but not sdfjkl. You can modify the keys that DBT will
expect under Global, View Preferences, Six Key Set.

I believe Perky Duck works the same as DBT as far as keying in Braille
goes.

If you currently have keyboards that work, then perhaps you can just
keep them rather than using new keyboards?

Can any person who has DBT 10.6 on their computer, download and use
Perky Duck to modify any keyboard to accommodate six key entry? If that
is the case, it seems like it would be more cost-effective for us to do
that. I love George's six key entry keyboard but purchasing restrictions
would more than likely preclude this bureaucracy to purchase something
that specialized.
