Jean,
I always remove the TOC created by Word before letting Duxbury generate its
TOC. Otherwise, there's a good chance that page numbering will be wrong. Your
problem seems to validate that approach. In any case, I'm glad you got it
worked out.

Hi Steve,
I'm not sure exactly. But I was importing a Word document and had used the
Bana template to start the TOC page with the centered heading and left and
right aligned headings. I was then simply inserting the generated TOC below
that and deleteing the duplicate lines. Perhaps there were competing codes
there, because once I got rid of that and started with a blank page, it worked
well. So, not sure what was wrong.
