Hi David,
I have just tested your example.
Yes, DBT adds the [-] code for me as well.

However, I tried copying and pasting the braille into both Word and Illustrator
and the assisted hyphen code does not copy across for me.
I did the copy and paste with both the codes on and off, and this made no
difference for me, the code did not copy across.

So my question is, how are you copying and pasting from DBT across to
Illustrator?

My method is to highlight the braille, ctrl-c to copy, then in Illustrator
press ctrl-v to paste, then ensure a braille font is applied in the right size.

Hello Duxusers,

Below is a maths equation. Looks fine to start (1), looks fine when translated
(2) but when viewed in code view you see there�s an extra hyphen after the
decimal point and the plus sign. The file embosses correctly but if the braille
is copied and pasted in a drawing program, ie Illustrator, the unwanted hyphen
is also pasted as a braille letter (4). Does anybody have any idea why this is
happening?

(I may have asked this question before, apologies if I have).
