Hi Doreen,
There is little doubt that your Index will work OK, though you may need a USB
to Parallel adaptor cable if the Index does not have a USB port. But please
only get one from Maplin - £30.
I really would recommend you upgrade if you can afford it, as 10.5 is quite
old, and may occasionally splutter.

Hi everybody:
Using a laptop running Windows 10 and JAWS 17.
At the moment I have in my possession – though not on my computer – DBT 10.3
I also own a basic Index single-sided embosser and wonder if I can emboss using
my embosser, present version of DBT and my Windows 10 laptop?
I have a strong suspicion that I will need to upgrade to the latest version of
DBT but don’t know if I can use the Index Basic embosser under Windows 10.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
