Make sure that you have the correct embosser form size setting as your
default embosser and especially the default Template. You may need to
actually click the "set as default Template" button to do this.

One thing I've noticed about swift is that when I emboss directly from
Word, wide paper is automatically chosen, and that is not good for me
because I use narrow paper.

SWIFT is a nifty Word template that helps you map Word styles to DBT
styles and actually lets you create a document in Word and emboss it
directly from there, with DBT doing the translation in the background.

You can also bring a Word document directly into DBT for editing.

It is likely installed on your system. If you use Word 2007, check
the add-ins item on the ribbon. There will be a button labeled DBT,
which brings up its options.

I have to admit I haven't tried very hard to find the answer to this
myself so if someone could indulge me by answering this, I'd
appreciate it. What exactly is SWIFT? I'm getting the impression you
use it to bring documents into DBT from Word, but I don't really
understand how you actually install it or use it. I saw reference to
installing it when I installed 10.7 but I couldn't tell if it really
installed!
