I do it in a similar way. I do go to the end of the document and then I press alt plus the 9 key-the 9 on the numbers row. Here's how I do it; there is probably a better way: 1. after translation, press ctrl+end to go to the document end. 2. Turn on the JAWS cursor and move it to the bottom of the edit window. 3. Move up one line to read the status line. There it is! 4. Wouldn't it be nice if they would put the status line at the very bottom like others do? Then you could just use the "read status line" key whether in JAWS of WinEyes. Hi, I am using the Duxbury translation software version 10.3 and can't remember what the command for how many braille pages will be embossed. Another words, by pressing the command keys, Jaws will say some info including the number of pages that the file will be after embossed. Any help is appreciated. Andy
