Yes, the 8.5x11 are after the strips are removed.  This is the only kind of 
paper you can use in the Blazer; the tractor feed paper.

Have you ever used regular computer paper. The 8.5 x 11 inch specs are
they after the tractors are removed?
Whenever you purchase tractor computer paper, the dims are 9.5 x 11
with tractors.
