Jean, As long as you need a blank line before it, there is an easy work around. Insert a blank paragraph as you did before, but this time include at least one nonbreaking space (Ctrl-Shift-Spacebar). Make sure this blank paragraph is also styled as Centered or CenteredFullLine (the same style you use for line 25). In this instance, I had a blank line above the line that needed to be centered. As an experiment, I applied centering to the blank line, but it still didn't help. So I gather a previous paragraph must contain text. In the meantime, I gather I can create a Word style of my own and map it to a DBT style as [hds0]...[hde]. Should that work?
