Hi Lisette,

I can only at this point tell you the basic keystrokes to get to SWIFT
in Word 2007 WITHOUT a screen reader running. Tap the left Alt key,
press the letter x, and then letter d.

Visually, what happens is that pressing Alt makes the shortcut letters
appear below each ribbon title. Press Alt again and the letters
disappear. Helplessly the letters are not listed in Help, but here's
what my system shows.

F = Office Button

H = Home

N - Insert

P = Page Layout

S = References

M = Mailings

R = Review

W = View

Y1 = Mathtype (If you have it installed)

L = Developer

X = Add-ins

Y2 = Accessibility

Hope this helps,

George.

Hi George

Thanks. Any hints on a keystroke to find this "add-ins" ribbon? I'm
new to office 2007 and am struggling with it to be honest but there
you go. I'll look a bit harder if there's no keystroke to find the
ribbon.

Thanks.

Lisette

        Hi Lisette,

        If you can find the "Add-ins" ribbon, I believe you will find
Swift there.

        You may however need to re-install DBT 10.7 if it's not there.

        George.

        Hi

        I understand DBT 10.7 cannot yet deal with word 2007 files.
Once a word file has been translated into a .doc file as instructed by
DBT, is there any way to make Swift work when in MS Office 2007? there
are no menus anymore and it's much harder to find with the new
microsoft ribbon. I'm not sure if swift is supposed to work here or
not.

        There's nothing in the vista issues in help about this.

        Many thanks for any clarification.

        Lisette
