Hi Audrey, If you need to leave blank lines, there are a few potential methods. One is to go select "Word Importer" from DBT's "Global", and check "Preserve skipped lines". When you open your Word document in DBT, it will then leave a blank line for each blank line in your document for which you have pressed the "Return" or "Enter" key. Another is to specify how many blank lines you wish to leave in braille, and this can be done in two ways. Place your cursor where you want to skip lines, then: 1) In Word - type [[*sk#*]] where # is the number of lines you wish to leave blank. (That's two left square brackets, and asterisk, s, k, #, asterisk and two right square brackets. OR 2) In DBT - hold down the Ctrl key and tap [ (Left square bracket). An "Enter Code" dialog will come up into which you simply type sk# and press Enter or OK. Again the # being the number of blank lines. Try one of these methods to start with, and we can refine if needs be later. I am a VI teacher and my co-op just purchased the romeo pro 50 along w/the transend LT and epson printer. It is great but I'm still working out the kinks in typing a Word document. I wondered if someone could help me. I can't figure out how to leave space between sentences or paragraphs (so that the student can braille inbetween). I know my adjustments need to go thru duxbury but I can't figure out where.
