Jan, I use [ki1] and [ki0] to prevent lines of poems from breaking across
pages. [ki1] puts an implicit [kpe][kps] before every line in a
list/hierarchy, effectively preventing a line from breaking.

I put [kps] before the title, [kpe][ki1][kps] after the second line and
[ki0][kpe] after the last line of the poem. This keeps the title and first
two lines of a poem together on a page, and prevents further lines from
breaking across pages until the code is terminated.

In Word:

[[*kps*]]
[[*hds0:0*]]Title[[*hde*]]
[[*l*]][[*sl1*]]
[[*hi1:3*]]
[[*hl1*]]Line 1
[[*hl1*]]Line 2
[[*kpe*]][[*ki1*]][[*kps*]]
[[*hl1*]]Line 3
[[*hl1*]]...
[[*hl1*]]Last line.
[[*hi*]]
[[*kpe*]][[*ki0*]]

Hope that helps!
Rebecca

I am wanting to know what the following character styles are used for.
I am a BANA Word Template User. I cannot find them in Bana Braille 2014
and can only assume that they are available in the template for use in a
DXP file.

DBT codes contained in the first style below are: ki1 and ki0. I have
reviewed the Quick Code Reference and do not quite understand what
paragraph style situation I might want to use this for.

BL-BlockProtectLevel

BP-BLockProtect

Any examples of use would be much appreciated.

The dog was a lion
