Hi George,
Hmmm! we're dealing with two separate issues here as far as the brailling
and the bns are concerned.
First, the cookbook that i tried to send my friend, is a cookbook that i
compiled. I formatted it and it looks right pretty if i may say so myself!!
grins! anyway, I e-mailed her the file as an attachment; when she got the
file and tried to braille it, some of the ingredients got messed up. For
example, in some places, an ingredient would read: 1-1/2 and when my friend
got the file, on her screen and on her display, it would look like this:
111/2. There are several places throughout the file like that whereas when
i braille it and look at it on my display, it brailles and reads just fine.
So...hmmm! any suggestions?
Secondly, another friend, has something she wants to translate into braille
at work but because she doesn't have an embosser at work, she wants to put
it on her bns and take it home and braille it. She that that no matter what
format she saves it in, when she tries to print it out, it prints in grade 1.
As big as that steer was, i'll bet it would be nice and jucy!! Yummers!!
grins!
Thanks in advance for all your help.
