Bertha,
Not sure if I understand the question, but if you apply the
centering
code to a title, you just need to move your cursor past the end
centering code and then, unless you start a line with a code they
should all be on the left. You can turn your codes on by
pressing alt
f3.  After the centered title, you should see [hde]
Just move your cursor beyond that code. You can turn the codes
off
again by pressing alt f3 again.  HTH, Betsy
