Hi Teri, In order to generate a Table of Contents, you have two options. However most importantly, to get rid of the Capital Letter Sign, you need to move down the Table of Contents Dialog box to the Heading fields - Center, Left and Right. These are fully editable fields. Simply remove the first character, which you may hear as a comma for dot 6. I mentioned two options. If you accept the default "Style to use:", you will have a Table of Contents formatted according to BANA rules. However, if you select "Custom", you can make more alterations to the format if you require. There is just one other minor point I should mention. Did you use the English British without Capitals from the Translation Tables, or did you use a "British No Capitals" Template? Might I suggest you use a Template? This then accommodates things like the dots 5.6 Letter sign in front of acronyms. If this is not set up, here's how it can be done. In DBT, open a file called britnc.dxp which is in the c:\duxbury programs folder. From the Document menu, select "Create Template". When you name your Template, it will appear in Alphabetical order in the Templates list. If your own national default is say "Standard", you may then wish to call the new Template "UK No Capitals" which will place it at the end of the list. (In the UK, we call it "British No Capitals", to appear at the top, since that is OUR default. The problem I'm having is that when I generate the table of contents it comes out on my braille display with contents, chapter and page having capitals etc while the rest of the document appears as it should without capitals. This is very urgent. Is there a setting I need to change somewhere to make this work properly or is there a bug in the program. Thanks in advance.
