Aloha Hope,
Is there some reason that you are pasting the Word document in to DBTWin
instead of either using Swift or opening the file directly in to DBT? And,
I would check to be sure that Smart quotes are not turned on in Word. I
think it is under the Formatting menu. I would turn it off.

Hi all!
I am having some difficulty with Duxbury translation into grade 2 Braille. When I translate e-mail it works fine. However, when I type a document in Microsoft Word and then paste it into Duxbury it changes apostrophes into quotes. It also eliminates punctuation marks such as capitals and periods. I have a Braille Star and the grade 2 translation is on. I also have Jaws 6 and Duxbury 10.5.
I tried all of the text formats for English in Duxbury none of them made a difference.
If you could help I would be grateful. I translate the bulletin and type the words to the songs for the three of us that are visually impaired at church. The bulletins are sent to me in e-mail and they translate fine.
Thank you
Hope
