Thank you Steve,
That worked! I have no clue what error I was making, but I'm thrilled it's
resolved.
Thank you again,
Cecelia

Hi Cecelia,
I don’t see anything in the Layout menu that says “Running Head,” so I’m
not sure what you meant. However, I do see a “Header…” option which will do
what you want. Just place your cursor before the first word on page 2 and
select that option in the layout menu. You’ll be prompted for a header text,
and you’ll be given the choice of where to place the header (all pages, odd
pages, even pages, or no header). You probably want “all pages.” If you have
turned on Reveal Codes, you’ll see a code that tells DBT where to place the
header, followed by [tls], the header text you entered, and [tle]. From then
on, your header will appear at the top of each page.

Subject: [duxuser] help with a running head
Hi Folks,
Can someone please tell me how to insert a running head to start at the
top of page 2 of my main body? (New user here, apologies for my lack of
experience, and TIA for help).
I tried putting the curser before the first word on page 2 and selecting
running head from the Layout tab. That automatically generated a whole lot
of stuff I did not want so I just selected "undo" to get myself out of
whatever mayhem I created.
Thank you,
Cecelia
