[duxuser] importing Word docs

I'm having another problem when importing Word documents using DBT 10.6. My
style of working is to frequently import my document into DBT using the Duxbury
menu and D, to quickly check little things such as if a heading will fit on a
single line, etc. Sometimes I do this quite often as it's just a few keystrokes
to check something.
I find that after one or two saves and imports, DBT loses focus on the correct
file and imports an older version without the most recent thing I'm checking.
I'm thinking this is because Word saves working .tmp files as it goes, and DBT
doesn't always recognize the currently saved document from within all the temp
stuff behind the scenes. Even if I go into DBT and manually import the
document, it isn't always as it should be. The only way to fix the problem is
to close Word which deletes all the temp files and reopen everything. But this
defeats the idea of quickly flipping back and forth between the two.
Is this something that can be fixed?
