I edit codes in the search and replace activity. I get a lot of docs that
have une underline, and bold, and italic, all in the same document. I put
the code [fts~b]. Then, when I want to search for underline, I go to the
search for edit field and the code I entered is there. I put my cursor on
the b delete it and insert a u. After the underline is replaced with
nothing, I change the u in the search string to an i.

I didn't think you could edit codes that already occur in a document. I
thought you had to delete the offending code, and insert what you want,
being able to edit the replacement code if you wish.
