Hello Becky. If you are transcribing the math problems in Nemeth Code, that includes brailling the time in Nemeth Code. So the digits are in the lower position. There is a number sign at the start of the time and after the colon; the colon is dots 456, 25. If you have brought the material into DBT from Scientific Notebook with an English (American) template, then it is automatically set for Nemeth Code, which is appropriate. Could I get some help with transcribing time? I have a math problem which states arriving at 8:00 am and leaving at 11:00 am. 1. Do I use nemeth code to state the time? 2. Is the colon between hour and minute different in nemeth than literary? I don't see this addressed in the Nemeth Manual, and when I use Scientific Notebook and Duxbury to transcribe I get a different translation than what is stated in the Literary Instruction Manual. Thanks for any help. Becky Lyon Instructional Assistant Special Ed - Program for Visually Impaired
