[duxuser] numbering in forign languages

A customer of mine is asking if the numbering sequence using the first 10 
letters of the alphabet is common in other languages.  I think this is likely 
in the romance languages but am unsure if this is the case in other alphabet 
systems.  

If you know, please let me know too.  I appreciate your responses.
