Your steps are missing one important one. After you have pressed Alt-F3
to reveal codes, press F6 to open the Find and Replace dialog box to the
Replace tabbed page. In the "find what" control, press CTRL-Left Bracket
and type fts~b or whatever. You're going to leave the "replace with"
field blank. Tab to OK and press Enter. Then tab to "All" and press
Enter again. You may have to press Enter one more time to dismiss the
dialog that comes up and asks if you want to search at the beginning of
the document.

Poof! All the beginning bold codes are gone. Now repeat this with fte~b.

Hope this helps you.

Subject: [duxuser] problems getting rid of codes in dxp file

Hello list,

I am having problems when I try to get rid of the codes for bolding.
What I do is the following:

1. Reveal codes with Alt+f3.
2. Hit control+left bracket and type in [fts~b] and then I try to
search for the rest with Control+I for the next codes but Control+I is
unavailable. Any ideas why this might happen?
