I set up DBT's Word importer to "preserve skipped lines", make sure that the
Word document uses skipped lines only at paragraph changes, use no intenting
in Word, and then when it's into DBT, I first search and replace ALL
instances of [es~para.] and [ee~para.] with [l], then replace ALL instances
of [<] with [p].

That covers it quite quickly.

Anybody else have other techniques?

Dan

Subject: [duxuser] retaining paragraphs inporting from word

Running 10.4 I am having difficulty retaining paragraphs where the
separation is a blank line with no other formatting in Word. I am not using
a template in word either.

I can cut and paste into Duxbury and things are fine but not otherwise.

Any solutions other than templates?

      thank you!
