Dear Charles, I translated one version of the Online Bible into braille. The electronic file had a hard return and a space before each verse number. I replaced each space and hard return with a paragraph code so the beginning of each verse began in cell 3, like a paragraph. This is convenient both for reading the Bible embossed and reading it using a braille display. If you need the NIV, let me know and I'll send it to you. I'm considering translating other versions into braille, so let me know which one you need. The Online Bible program has several versions. My idea of treating each verse as a paragraph may not be "according to Hoyle", but the text is more readable than simply placing a space in front of the verse numbers. I hope this helps.
