Covid-19 restrictions are due to ease further from Monday 10 May. Here is a
brief summary of the key changes.

Travel

Intercounty travel for non-essential reasons can return.

Owners of stationary mobile homes or caravans can travel to another county
to stay in their mobile homes, and caravan parks are permitted to open to
facilitate access for owners. However, no rentals are allowed, and shared
facilities are not permitted.

Rental of accommodation will not be allowed. It is expected to resume from 2
June, subject to the public health conditions at the time.

Social visits

A maximum of three households, or up to six people from individual
households, can meet outdoors, including in private gardens. Children aged
12 and under are not included in the limits.

Additionally, people who are fully vaccinated can meet indoors with other
fully vaccinated people, with a maximum of three households present.

Fully vaccinated people can meet indoors with unvaccinated people from a
single household, as long as they are not at risk of severe illness. Again,
there is a limit of three households in total for such visits.

Outdoor gatherings

Up to 15 people can attend organised gatherings outdoors.

Outdoor sports training for adults can return, in pods with a maximum of 15
people.

Retail

The phased reopening of non-essential retail begins.

Stores can offer click-and-collect, or in-store shopping by appointment.

Outdoor retail can also resume.

Personal services

Hairdressers, barbers and beauticians can reopen for customers, by
appointment only.

Cultural services

Galleries, museums and other cultural attractions can reopen.

Libraries can reopen for lending services, but there should be no access to
reader spaces or computer facilities.

Religious services, funerals and weddings

In-person religious services can resume, with a limit of 50 people
attending.

The Government says Communions and Confirmations should not take place at
this time.

Up to 50 mourners are allowed to attend funeral services. Related events
should not take place before or after the service.

50 guests are allowed to attend wedding services, whether civil or
religious. For celebrations or receptions after the service, a maximum of
six people will be allowed to attend indoors, and up to 15 outdoors.

Public transport

The number of people allowed on public transport increases to 50% of normal
capacity.

Property viewings

Viewings of properties can resume, by appointment only, and only when
conducted through licensed Property Service Providers.
