1. Open the 'Contacts' app on your iPhone. Note: you can ask Siri to
"open contacts" if you wish.
2. Swipe right to the add button '+' and double tap to activate.
3. Swipe right and double tap on the "First name", "Last name", and, if
desired, the "Company" name of your new contact. You don't have to fill in
all of these, but you will have to double tap on each field to activate it
and type in the information.
4. Swipe right to the "add phone" button (beneath the "Company" field) and
double tap to activate. Doing so brings up a text field labelled "Phone".
5. Type in your contact's phone number.
6. Add additional contact information. If desired, use the labelled fields
to add other contact information such as email address, birthday, mailing
address, and social media accounts. Note it can be a good idea in some cases
to add the mailing address if you plan to use Siri to ask for directions to
that particular contact in the future.
7. Finally, swipe left to "Done" and double tap to activate. Once done you
will have saved the information to your iPhone's Contacts.
