Nice to be able to respond to one of your emails as you do so much in terms of
passing on excellent information to the group
If the phone number is in the text message itself then I usually double tap
with one finger and hold to bring up the option of adding it to contacts you
may have to use the rotor on the links option to get directly to the phone
number in the text.
If on the other hand the phone number is the source of the text then it is a
bit tricky
I swipe right until I get to the name or source of the text message (it is
usually the first field after the back button)
Double tap this will bring up three options:-audio (to make a call), FaceTime
and info.
Double tap info this will bring up a details heading double tap the more
details option
Then you should be able to add it to contacts
Hope this is not too confusing
I am sure others in the group such as Cearbhall and Bert Who constantly and
generously give of their time and expertise to answer these questions may be
able to simplify it better. but hope it works happy and peaceful Christmas to
