I got Amazon Alexa on my p= c now. It is available in the Microsoft Store.
You should have that on the = taskbar by default if you are using Windows
10.=C2=A0 Search fir the Alexa = app, get and sign in. I used my mobile
number and my Amazon password. Other= wise create a new Amazon account.
Initial testing =E2=80=93 my pc is anothe= r alexa so I just say =E2=80=9C
Alexa Play Christmas FM on tuneln=E2=80=9D= =C2=A0 while I type this. I keep
my=C2=A0 voice down otherwise the other la= dy alexa could get jealous and
sulk. It appears that although this Alexa on= pc has the same account as the
other echo dot, they don=E2=80=99t talk to = each other.
This Alexa is voice activate= d and no need to type anything or use
assistivetools. It has the local rad= ios, for music you need the full
=E2=82=AC9 music account to enable this, i= t wont link to your smart
devices, you use your phone for that instead and = finally it claims that
youcan do video calls to other alexa devices PC?. A= research project for
theexchange clubs. =C2=A0=C2=A0

An interestin= g question Can you link a PC to the Amazon Alexa?. After
reading around the= re are limited options other than getting a keyboard for
your phone or tabl= et. There are third party programs claiming to be alexa
apps for windows. T= he official Amazon way is, you guess, is to buy an
alexaenabled pc which h= as a firmware and so you need to go to the Amazon
Store with your credit ca= rd. Thats my understanding.
