Cheers for this Bob. I'll attempt to download this ap. If I select 36 but only
have 20 apps does that matter, as I'm sure I'll be adding to this screen as
time progresses.

Double tap the one you want and the screen returns to the home screen and
places that app on at the point you chose earlier.
Go through the home screen loading up the apps you might want.
On the home screen, there is already one: A SIMPLE LAUNCHER SETTINGS APP,
and this takes you into that apps menu to do various things, you cannot
remove this app, it is fixed on the home screen.
On my home screen I have for example:
Settings: this gets you in to androids functions.
Next bus Dublin: this gets me in to town, it gives times and road names of
various bus stops.
Play store: this is where you search for apps to download and there are
hundreds of thousands of them.
Pocketcast: a pod download programme.
Sullivan+ a programme that uses camera to read text or tell you what objects
are in view.
SOUNDRECORDER: This was designed for the visually impaired and is a good
recorder, simple and good recordings. Very basic.
topFM A radio for BBC and other so called liked UK radio stations.
ZOOM: How I contact you lot on Monday.
There are so many apps for android and really it takes a time to find ones
that might suit your liking.
If you search for Accessible apps in the Playstore, lots will turn up.
Often apps are not in strict alphabetical order, guess this gives everyone a
chance to promote their app.
Lots of apps are free, some give a week to practice, others are free but
have adds popping up, but usually you are given the choice to buy the app
which then is add free.
