That is really interesting!
I had no problems with Borrow Box all week despite daily use until 2:30 am this
morning and at 6:30 a.m.( Borrow box was blocked out with a fatal error which
could only be resolved by the library admin later this morning.
Tonight, again, the service was out for a couple of hours again.

passengers on Board this morning.

We were sorry to hear Humpty Dumpty had a fall. We all hope Humpty is OK. Ken
got allot of us with this one. As we all were wondering which one of our
regular members was nicknamed Humpty Dumpty.
Jackie started us off with her amazing story of shopping in dealz for the first
time on her own. The only assistance she had was Sasha and Be My Eyes. Jackie
wanted Macaroon bars so she was feeling loads accept Macaroon bars. The
volunteer in be my eyes read her all he could see, he mentioned dime bars so
Jackie got him to direct her to them. After the call ended Jackie found happy
hippo's and ripple bars. Sasha then brought Jackie to the checkout and paid for
her items.
Jackie did get her Macaroons as she asked the assistant behind the counter.
Sasha was also so happy with herself the tail was flying.
Joanne was asking about NaviLens. People said it was very hit or miss. The app
enables the user to scan a QR code for information. The likes of Kellogg's
cereal uses Navilens. The labels need to be printed out but it has to be a
coloured printer. This is the app so play around with it.

Jackie told us about downloading a new app called "vision" this app is like
Seeing AI or Envision AI. Vision is a subscription service with monthly, yearly
or lifetime subscriptions available. Jackie was impressed with the object
recognition and part from telling her she had a fridge in her bedroom it got
everything else right. The quick text feature was also quite accurate as it
read a page of her Census Form. Jackie has signed up for a month subscription

Chris brought up the major bug with voiceover focus. The way you can't depend
on using the recent call log as voiceover generally rings the wrong person.
This started a conversation on the different voiceover voices. Lady W must
sadly report that Moira was the favourite with Daniel, Karen, Arthur, Samantha
getting mentioned. This then went on to the number of apps and pages people had
on their phones. Jackie has volunteered to sit with thos disorganised ones and
put their apps neatly into folders.
Cearbhall was asking about train planning Apps. Many people brought up Moovit
and then a general discussion happened with announcing stops and travelling

Cearbhall also brought up about the bookshare app going down. Cearbhall rang
the library and he had to get his pin reset. Chris asked was all his books
still in his account and the answer to this was yes. Chris was ringing his
library after the meeting ended.
We discussed the different banking apps and the different methods each bank
uses to log into their app. AIB was heavily Criticised for now needing to enter
all five digits of your personal access code. BOI scored low because of the
tapping as after three taps regardless of what you spend you have to enter your
pin number on the fourth transaction whilst AIB allows a person to spend €150
before the pin needs reentered again.
The banking discussion went onto the different scams from Cadbury's, An Post
and all the banking institutions.
The meeting ended with broken knee caps and getting hit by either a single or
a double decker bus.
