This accessible Advent Calendar offers a whole load of fun for anyone who is
blind or partially sighted. You can navigate to the current day or any of
the previous days on the calendar, all the different gifts that come from
the Calendar, such as the traditional bad Christmas joke, short but very
sweet music performances by some of the editors of the website, as well as
several other wonderful little treats.
The website is fun and easy to navigate, when you reach the number door that
you are going to open and press enter, you'll be played a little audio of a
door creaking open, then once the door is opened, it'll take you to a
separate page and once it has loaded, you navigate down, to the Christmas
gift, while you are working your way down the page, you'll come across a
countdown until Christmas day!
Just a little bit after that you'll be presented with either an audio gift
or a written gift! Both are totally accessible so you can read or interact
with them with your screen reader or magnifier software. So overall, this is
a fun and interactive website for anyone who is blind or visually impaired!
