Here is a flavour of the upcoming events:
Friday next October 29th is a Seen-Unseen gallery visit to the Rembrandt
Exhibition in Cork's Crawford Gallery and this Audio Described visit will
take place over Zoom at 2 30 pm.
Secondly, the Hardliners Writing VIP Collective will be presenting their
Soul Noir Scripts in the salubrious surroundings of the Bedford Room in
Dublin Castle, beginning at 1 pm on Monday next, November 1st as part of
the Gothic Art Festival.
So! Why not extend Halloween and come along to Dublin Castle to hear all
about Witchcraft and all things Spooky and Macabre.

Subject: [fb-exchange] Dublin Exchange Club Monday October 25th
Lady W reluctantly clambered on the side saddle and took the notes for this
the bank holiday version of the Dublin Tech Club.
The following people were in attendance.
Vera Naughton, Martin Kelly, Cearbhall O'Meadhra, Gerard Eastwood, Michael
Brown, John Chambers and Jackie McBrearty.
Paul you were missed. Apologies in advance for these notes.
Martin started us off with telling us about not availing of the five for
five on various chocolates in Tesco that Jackie advised on Saturday,
instead opting for a tin of celebrations. Martin also recommended coconut
yogurt from Tesco.
Martin also told us about a number of different arty type events happening
soon. Lady W decided to allow Martin to post all events to the list.
Martin was on a roll this morning and we discussed the blind guys chat
podcast. Martin gets Alexa to play these. It was suggested to listen to
number 28 as this was all about travelling.
When the travel podcast was mentioned Gerry asked about uploading his covid
cert onto his phone. Gerry is an android user so Jackie suggested
downloading the Green Pass app.
Cearbhall spoke about something about IOS but my eyes glazed over so
Cearbhall will post these details to the list. The thing had something to
do with having different apps in different ears. This is different from
audio in one ear and VO in the other.
We discussed IOS updates and how a friend of Martin's told him, that apple
said when big updates come out its up to app developers to ensure there apps
work with the latest update.
The whole idea of downloading windows11 came up. We were all quite content
that this update won't be forced on our poor machines. It seemed to be the
consensus was to leave updating so any bugs can be ironed out.
Lady W is off to whimper in a corner.
