Carmel is a new member, and does not know too much about technology or smart
phones.
She uses a Dora mobile phone to make and receive phone calls, but would like
to use modern technology.
Bert suggested she take a look at smart vision mobile phone from sight and
sound technology
And Paul suggested to take a look at the Amazon Alexa device.
Plenty for Carmel to think about.
Cearbhall showed us his Braille orbit reader machine (20 cells)
Which he got from America at a bargain price.
Bert told us of the Calibre app,
An audible book site for the blind and vision impaired,
Its calspace download, where one can download books after paying a modest
annual fee.
There was much discussion on the merits of addroid and Apple technology
As to which was the better.
