we started talking about Be my eyes and their new AI feature. Jackie has
registered to become a beta tester. As yet Jackie has not heard will she be
a tester. We discussed extensively how this feature would work.
Jackie shared her experience on ringing volunteers and both Ken and Jackie
said about calling Microsoft.
Then we spoke about issues with the likes of Alexa and Google playing the
RTE radio from tune in. Cearbhall and Martin both spoke crossly to her and
she played it.there has been issues with tune in and these AI's.
Jackie may be adding to her AI family soon, she will report back when this
happens.
Ken has a weird issue with his emails. when he sends himself an email that
he has exported from pages. When he does a resend from his laptop. The issue
happens when he checks it on the sent items on the iPhone. There is two
attachments on the sent mail. Ken and Cearbhall then worked on his outlook
to get this issue sorted.
Jackie asked about a focus issue on her unread folder on the mail app. When
she opens an email the focus jumps to another email. Cearbhall suggested to
stay in the all mail folder and then focus would remain.
Jackie asked about hearing aids and what they look like. Paul and Cearbhall
described this to her.
Joanne was asking what the android equivalent of the apple wallet. Ger said
its called google pay.
Jackie said a friend of hers was having trouble with the iPhone SE 3. Jackie
recommended to plug the iPhone into her laptop like Dominique did.
Cearbhall is still having problems using his earphones with his Bluetooth
keyboard. Jackie isn’t having any issues using the same method. The Only
thing different is Jackie is using a cheap and cheerful Bluetooth keyboard.
We gave our usual rendition of happy birthday for anyone that was missed in
the last couple of months. Several members felt we actually might be
getting worse instead of improving.
