Derry told the group he has now started using Siri to send WhatsApp messages on
his iPhone
This Led to Aisling telling the group on how she sends WhatsApp messages on her
android phone the same way.
Ken seemed to be having trouble setting reminders on his iPhone since he
updated to iOS 13. Jackie seemed to be having the same issue.
Cearbhall advised them both to use Siri to create an event on the Calendar app
to set their reminders.
Noreen wanted to know if she will get a notification to update to jaws 2020 on
her laptop.
This led on to Chris informing us on his workplace situation. his Employers
have given him a new laptop with Windows 10 and Jaws 2020.
Cearbhall spoke briefly about the vertical Scroll bar. Sometimes he finds it
really annoying. Ken and Pat haven’t found this any major issue.
Derry wanted to find out on how he could take notes on his iPhone to record his
Diat. Several members suggested he should use the Notes ap.
Martha is really impressed with the Moovit App. When she is using the app it
announces the next bus stop on her route.
Since Jackie has updated to I OS 13. When she puts her phone on do not disturb
for a certain amount of time. The next time she checks her phone she gets a
notification on the phone to say her phone is on do not disturb. She finds this
a nuisance sometimes especially late at night.
