Parkinson on FaceTime and Cearbhall O Meadhra on speakerphone.
Cearbhall and Ken were chatting about their travel plans to visit Chris in
Limerick.
Cearbhall informed the group that a person from Limerick has contacted
Fighting Blindness during the week . This person has never used any
assistive technology before. He’s going to purchase an iPhone this week.
Cearbhall invited him along when the lads are in Limerick to see how they can
be of assistance.
Pat told the Group he was having problems ending a phone call. Cearbhall and
Ken told him a phew techniques to try.
Martha told the meeting that’s the new Laya Health app is really accessible.
Pat asked the group did anyone use Pay Pal. None of the group has experience
of this. Cearbhall told Pat look into this and report back to the group.
Ken wanted to find out did anyone have a problem when on a phone call. When
he had loudspeaker on his phone seem to lock.
Cearbhall suggested he increas the time on his autolock. This should sort the
problem
The Group wished Derry all the best for Monday heading away training with his
new guide dog.
The next Cork meeting is being held in Limerick on the 17th of November.
