Apologies received.

Martin and Anne-Marie spoke about their experiences of using Be My AI. There was very positive feedback on it. Martin asked could someone give a demonstration of using the ask more feature in it. Ken demonstrated this feature.

We spoke about the world channel on Seeing AI and the app clew. people shared their experiences of using these apps. With clew being the preferred app. Ken tried to map out an indoor route during the week on seeing AI but was not impressed. As it gave very little feedback in a busy environment.
Here is the link to Clew for anyone that’s interested.

Anne-Marie shakes her phone allot. We were told this was to find my location using blind square but the group doubtful.

Jackie spoke how it would be cool if there could be a camera connected to your phone and use apps like Seeing AI, Be my eyes and other apps. Adrian said it could be possible but different permissions need to be given to allow this. Its good we know its possible just apple and app  developrs  need to work on this and not costing  thousand's.
Cearbhall was asking about different methods of finding out if a bus has arrived. People suggested be my eyes. Also Having a small sign of the bus number at the bus stop and the moovit app. Cearbhall will try out Moovit.
Here is the link to the Moovit app.

Cearbhall was saying about his battery only lasting 4 hours. The Group felt Bluetooth  drainss the battery And also was suggested to close apps in app switcher.
Anne-Marie was asking about IOS17. Jackie said she finds siri more snappy and she has it speaking faster. Jackie also said about VO doesn't announcing the first word she types. Stuart still has issues with siri.
Martin was at an event during the week for people with disability rights. Its called dessa. he said it was very positive.
Jackie was asking Stuart when is he getting his new iPhone 15. Stuart says he is getting it Tuesday. An hour after getting an email to confirm from DHL when it is due. He got a fake email proclaiming it was from DHL. Lucky Stuart was on the ball. Best of luck with your new phone from the group Stuart.
Ken ask Adrian  how he managed to convert  the phone numbers Into links  to dial in to the Zoom meetings. Adrian said he managed to separate the meeting ID from the phone number using commas So this means if anyone rings in to the meeting they won’t need to put in the meeting ID or press the hash button.
The group spoke about the security  using Microsoft Teams. Any participant can see who is in the lobby when they are not admin. Or mute any participant. Or Remove them from the meeting.
Anne-Marie led a discussion on how inaccessible touchscreen pay terminals are. She asked what we can do to stop this.
The meeting ended.
All The Best,Ken
