Great minutes Ken.
Side note, NFC is also used in contactless payments.
There are also NFC tags available that can be programmed to perform
something or to provide information once they're read with the phone
(can return plain text, contact card, etc.). It's a great tool to label
things around, like bottles, meds, etc.

Jackie told us about weirdness with her find my feature with her IOS
devices. Jackie was travelling and she got an alert on her phone saying
"her iPod has been left behind".It gave the last known location. This
panicked Jackie as the iPod was safely tucked into her bumbag.
This is the first time this has happened but she does get these alerts
when she has left either her airpods or iPod behind.
She doesn't get this alert for her iPad. Joanne suggested maybe because
it had left the wifi That’s why she got that alert. It was
suggested to turn this reminder off, Jackie will investigate it at some
stage.
Ger was asking about the iPhone Pros. This could be a sign he's
changing to iPhone from Android. Pat said it all depends what he wanted
from the different phones that were suggested.
Ken and Jackie spoke about the resend feature in the native mail app to
resend an email you go to more actions and Send Again. Its also
possible to change the name on the email address.
There was a discussion on using pin codes, finger print and face ID.
The group discussed NFC near field communication in great detail.
Joanne was asking about NFC and its uses. They are used for diabetic
devices to test blood sugar.
Cearbhall also found other uses for them. He'll post the link. Navilens
is the way to go though in labelling. Jackie, Pat and Joanne find them
very useful.
Braille was talked about extensively and the postage of materials to
electronic braille.
The group wished Stuart all the best for his remaining matches of the
tournament.
Ken gave the group a gentle reminder to fill out the group guidelines
that were sent to the members during the week.
Jackie was raving on how fantastic be my AI was.
Cearbhall said his phone was announcing weird behaviour. Jackie and the
group thought he might have been in todayview or the spotlight search.
Jackie was asking Ger on how he was getting on with his new Internet
provider. This led to the group discussing the different Internet
providers.
The meeting ended.
All The Best,
Ken
