Jackie is getting new flooring and she was asking about mops, she was
planning on a steam mop but she was advised against this for the type of
flooring she is using. Ken told her he'd get her the name of the one that is
used by his family, its a very handy one to use.
Martha was telling us about an issue with a what Sapp group call on
Thursday night. Jackie suggested that perhaps fangs and fur could arrange a
group call and see could things be replicated. Martha told us that it was
much more difficult to join the call compared to what happened before. Fangs
and Fur will report back next week.
Clare was asking about the WeeWalk cane, she was wondering was it water
proof, people thought it would have to have some level of water proofness.
Martin told Clare to look it up on youtube and that could answer all her
questions.
Mary was asking about resetting the contactless limit on her Revolut card.
Jackie told her to go into the revolut app, go to cards, double tap on her
card, go to pin and security. There is an option here to reset limit. you'll
need to either use pin code or face ID to confirm.
Mary told us about paying €25 a year for apple match this is basically your
music in the cloud. Mary was wondering if she cancelled it would she loose
what she has stored, Jackie assumed yes as if you cancel apple music you
lose what you have. Pat had heard rumours that apple was planning on getting
rid of this service. Mary was advised to contact apple support.
Martin was asking did anyone listen to Stuart Lawlor's webbing hours during
the week. Martin was talking about the robot vacuum cleaner. We all agreed
this would be a good device when left alone in a house to work away.
Cearbhall was asking about Google maps and it didn't go all that great.
Jackie also reported she had one good experience with using Google maps
along with soundscape. The next two times she used it she wasn't told that
she had arrived.
People were interested in the differents between an android and iPhone.
This came from a question Cearbhall asked about an older android phone could
it take the latest software, he was told no.
Martin said the home button was still not working on his IPhone. He was told
to invest.
Jackie informed us you now have to pay a subscription for my finder. Also
you have to pay a subscription for super sense. This is similar to Seeing
AI.
Martha had to pay a customs fee and a handling charge when she picked up a
package on a purchase from amazon at her local post office.
