In attendance, nine participants    Apologies received.   Fingers and paws crossed these notes are readable. As a couple of links put in.    Tom told us about a show on BBC Radio4. It's called the   media show. He finds  it great to get descriptions on art work. It's More than likely available ona podcast.   Jackie was telling us about getting the ember system in. Ember is like Hive and Nest. This one works with her air to water system. Jackie now has it set on manual. So she can control  the temperature of the   house. Jackie tested this out and she manually put the target temperature to 20degrees  and the temperature of the house was 18degrees . Once the house reached 20degrees the heating clicked off. This system also works with Alexa and google. Jackie is very happy.   Jackie also had wifi issues this week. When the ember was put in once Jackie checked her wifi it asked for her password.  It kept saying it was incorrect. Jackie rang vodafone and after squealing like a deranged bunny. The vodafone agent changed the password. This did nothing so in the end Jackie just reset network settings and this solved the issue.

Anne-Marie was saying she lost her iPad in her home during the week but she did    tidied her house while looking for the iPad. AnneMarie   turned on find my after she found her iPad.   Anne-Marie also said she's working better with teams.   A big discussion happened about the plain text and HTNL on the list. We want to thank Adrian for his work on  sorting this issue.

Allot of discussions happened about accessible documents. Including how to convert  Image PDFs to readable format. The group spoke about other various issues but also when it works well.

Jackie had a strange issue with revolut. it was saying she had four new items. Jackie searched for ages and she contacted Revolut. In the end Ken sorted her out by telling her to go into transfer. She did this and double tapped on  some of her recent transfers. This sorted the issue.   Anne-Marie told us about an app called Viz lens. Here is the link.

Adrian told us about Bard it's similar to chat GPT. Here is the link.

Tom told us about Noa. Noa stands for News Over Audio. The Noa Alexa skill allows you to listen to narrated articles of your favourite journalists, publishers, and categories.

It claims to have content from over 1,500 journalists and publications and all articles are human narrated. So, if you are into the Irish Times or the New York Times you should find something to suit your taste.

You can enable Noa in the Alexa app on your smartphone or try saying "Alexa enable Noa".

Ken  caution when enabling the skill. A friend enabled it yesterday on her Device  and her Alexa started talking in some foreign language.

Ken got an I cloud  notification during the week. Saying his iCloud storage was nearly full. He couldn't figure out how this could be. So ken decided to check his iCloud settings. Ken turned off a previous backup from an old device he no longer had And his Icloudstorage returned to normal.

To turn off a iCloud backup you no longer need. Here are the steps.

Settings, go to your name which is the first option, iCloud, iCloud backup which should be turned on, then tap on whatever the name of your device you want to switch off, delete and turn off back up.

The meeting ended.

All The Best,

Ken
