Pat Walsh was having trouble with Siri. Geraldine got to the root of the
problem for him.
Pat McCarthy told us the pros and cons of updating to ios10. Cearbhall was
having trouble with battery life on his IPhone. He hopes this is resolved when
he updated to ios10 yesterday.
Ken wanted to find out was there any facility on his laptop to dictate text on
a word document. Cearbhall told him about j dictate.
Derry wanted to find out about Google maps and what people thought of using
them. So we had a brief discussion on Google maps and apple maps built in to
the IPhone.
Pat McCarthy told the group about special deals on books on the audible app
most days.
We had a brief discussion on the borrow box app.
Geraldine wanted to find out was there any way of getting a digital form of
books she needs for college instead of hard copies of the books. Cearbhall is
going to work on finding out about this with Geraldine .
