In attendance, Derry Walsh, Ken Walsh, Martha Parkinson, pat Walsh, pat
Mccarthy, what’s app participants, Chris Egan and Noreen Meagher.
Pat Walsh wanted to know how to turn off his passcode on his iPhone. if he
updated to I OS 13.2. Ken and pat Mccarthy told him several options on what
he should try.
This led onto Ken telling the group on what iPhones are compatible with iOS
13.
Ken informed the group that he couldn’t charge his iPhone at all. He took it
to a place where he has got electrical equipment fixed in the past. They
discovered that the charging port on his iPhone was worn away. He had to get
a new one installed.
Pat Walsh wanted to jog his memory on how to purchase a book from BorrowBox.
Ken and Pat McCarthy helped him with this.
Chris informed the group where he is at the moment with his workplace
assessment.
Derry seemed to be having trouble deleting audio books from his iPhone. Ken
helped him with this.
Chris informed the group that he has been called for jury service.
Pat McCarthy told the group when you purchase a new iPhone and want to
transfer the apps and other details onto the new iPhone. You can touch one
iPhone off The other to transfer the details. It’s much quicker than
downloading the details from the iCloud to your new phone.
The next Cork meeting is on Saturday the 16th of November at 11 am
