In attendance Derry Walsh, Pat Walsh, Ken Walsh and Cearbhall O Meadhra on face
time from Dublin.
Derry asked the group was any of them having trouble entering their password
and email address when trying to buy a book on the audible website. As he was
trying to put up a book for the book club he is involved in. He wanted to find
out the groups thoughts on this matter.
This led on to pat wanted to see what Derry and Ken thought of the audible app
and how it worked. So we had a chat and gave pat some feedback on what we
thought of it and how to go about getting special deals on getting some books.
Cearbhall asked the group did any of the group use the borrow box app. As he
wanted to get feedback on it but no one in the group is using it yet. Cearbhall
reckamends the group should give it a go as it is easy to navigate around it.
Pat wanted to find out about what version of N.v.d.a. he is running on his
computer as it seems to be running slow. Cearbhall gave him some useful tips
and they plan to follow up on getting to the root of why his computer is
running slow.
Cearbhall asked Ken when Cearbhall was on face time to Ken at the meeting
could Ken use other apps on his phone while chatting on face time without
ending the call. Ken gave it a go to see if he could find a contact on the
phone app. This worked fine as the call was not ended and the quality of
Cearbhall s voice was fine when Ken was using voiceover while looking for the
contact.
Ken wanted to find out on how to go about turning off touch typing on his
kindle fire because he prefers using standard typing. Cearbhall had a look on
how to go about doing this and sent some useful tips to the FB mailing list.
