In attendance 8 participants.
Derry Walsh, Ken Walsh, Pat Walsh, Chris Egan, Martin Kelly, Sean Kavanagh,
Gavin Allman, Martha Parkinson.
The group welcomed Sean to his first ever Exchange Club meeting.
Sean wanted to find out on how to access his contacts list on Microsoft outlook
2016. Martin, Martha and Pat all advised him to open up Outlook. then Press
control shift and B. This will open up his contacts.
Pat wanted to try and access a video and some pictures that a friend had put up
on Facebook. As he wanted to share them on his own Facebook page. Chris and Ken
tryed to help him access his friends Facebook page. during The meeting but
unfortunately had no luck. Pat Will take the advice given and report back.
Martha informed the group she linked into the retina conference this morning
for a while to listen to Jackie and Marion. All agreed they look forward to
hearing the podcast when available.
Pat seems to be having trouble accessing Books on book share. Pat plans to get
some help with this.
Chris played an interview from the fighting blindness Facebook page. which
featured John Delaney on R.T.E.from last week. talking about Charles Bonnet
syndrome and promoting retina 2020. All agreed the quality was superb from
Chris‘s phone. All thanked Chris for this.
Martin shared his own experience from the seen unseen virtual event from the
Crawford gallery in Cork yesterday.
Cearbhall popped into the meeting to say hi when on a break from the Retina
conference
Martin asked Pat did he invest yet in the iPhone SE 2020. Pat said it’s
retailing at around €190.
Pat seemed to be having trouble leaving today’s meeting on his PC. Ken told him
make sure the zoom window was in focus on his PC. Then press ault and The
letter Q. Then tab around to leave meeting and hit enter. Eventually Pat was
able to leave the meeting successfully.
All agreed they were hungry. So the meeting ended.
