The meeting was delayed by a login problem with Zoom. The logon
procedure demanded confirmation with a code number to prove that the login

selling to Ireland. America, North of Ireland and special postage

Bert needs to clear his initial Covid cert. from his iPhone Wallet
before inserting the latest booster cert.
This led to a discussion of the Revolut card and when and how it needs
to be activated before use. The user needs to go to a bank machine to
activate the new card.
The Post Office has introduced a similar card that can be registered
and filled in at the post office itself. This is to be followed up.
Revolut charges for signing up and allows a limited number of bank
transactions per month. When more than three financial transactions
have been carried out, the user can go to their phone to update the
card. One advantage of the Revolut card is that there are no bank
charges when used abroad if there are sufficient funds to make it unnecessary
to go to a bank.
Joe prefers to use Apple Pay to top up the card. He just hits the side
button twice to confirm the transfer.
Hunger forced Martin to leave the meeting.
Tom used to take the Irish Times on an annual fee basis. However, he
finds that there is not enough time to work through the daily paper
and prefers to use the Journal.ie for all his news.
The meeting finished with a review of Windows 11 versus Windows 10 and
a warning that Windows 11 is due by 2025. This means no direct
Microsoft support for windows 10 from 2025.
All agreed to go and enjoy The Bank Holiday.
