=20
We recently made changes to our mobile app to enhance security features =
and improve the look and feel. We=E2=80=99re now also upgrading our 365 =
online platform, so you=E2=80=99ll have the same security and experience =
across mobile, tablet and online.=20
How will this affect you?
=20
Over the coming weeks, you=E2=80=99ll notice extra security when you =
bank online. When you log on to 365 online, you=E2=80=99ll be asked to =
set up a =E2=80=9Csecurity device=E2=80=9D i.e. your smartphone or =
tablet. You=E2=80=99ll need this anytime you log in or carry out =
transactions online, for example, to make a payment.
We will send messages to your phone or tablet so that you, and only you, =
can confirm that it=E2=80=99s you logging on to and using your account.
What do you need to do now?
=20
If you have recently upgraded to our new mobile app, all you need to do =
is have your smartphone or tablet with you when you log on to 365 =
online.=20
If you haven=E2=80=99t upgraded to the new app yet, make sure your =
mobile number is updated and activated, and go to your app store to =
upgrade to the new app. Our handy user guide, which you can download =
below, will help you with this.
We will be removing access to the existing mobile app and to 365 online =
over the coming months, so we encourage you to update your mobile app =
and get set up online soon so that you don=E2=80=99t lose access to =
online and mobile banking.=20
Regular updates and new features
=20
And that=E2=80=99s just the start, once you upgrade to our new mobile =
app and online banking, you=E2=80=99ll start to see regular updates with =
new features that will make banking with us even easier.
