Our developers have come back to me with the following information:
* We are currently working on a fix for the product details screen -
the fix will be released with an update soon.
* The team will correctly label the new Settings button.
* The Now Playing button was removed intentionally, however a new
feature has now been released which allows users to access the most recently
played/read books through a menu that appears when you press and hold the app
icon on your home screen. This feature works with VoiceOver.
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

I hope you can answer these question for me!
I am registered with Wicklow county library
I am using BorrowBox on an iPhone SE running IOS 14.6.
In the past few weeks I have noticed that "now playing" is no longer
available in BorrowBox
I also see that an incorrectly identified button now sits where the "now
Playing" button was before, i.e., in the top left hand corner of the screen.
This icon is named as: "icon person crop circle button" by Voiceover.
When I click on this very odd label, I find myself in settings. At the very
bottom of the screen I see that I am running version3.8.3. Should I take it
that this is a version of the BorrowBox software?
Apart from the labelling of the home page icon for this function, the
settings interface itself is fine.
Without the "Now playing" button, I have to try to remember exactly which
book I was reading before being interrupted. After a bit of trouble, I can
find this out but why remove such a useful button?
When I click on search to find another audio title, I get the usual list of
successful matches and click on one to examine it more closely. All that is
unchanged and quite familiar. However, when I open the title, I am locked
into the first three lines of the screen showing the "Review" and "Borrow"
buttons. Remember, I am using Voiceover to "read" the screen. I am offered
the summary and the borrow button but I cannot get down to the author
details, the summary and all the other information that, I know, is on the
screen in front of me.
Why is this? How can I move between these two parts of the screen?
In general, BorrowBox is working out to be a very useful and usable app.
Please don't neglect the voiceover users when creating improvements to the
interface for sighted use!
