Hi all
I was recently introduced through a very good friend to this lady called
Leia who is originally from Romania. She ran this idea by me and asked me
would I know of any group of visually impaired people that she might be able
to share thoughts on her art project with.
So, I told her about the national League for the blind trust and offered to
share her thoughts with you all

To whom it may concern,
I hope this email finds you well. My name is Leia Mocan, and I am a visual
artist. I am reaching out to you regarding a significant opportunity that
has come my way. I have been granted a bursary award from CFCP/Arts Council
to develop a new body of work titled "Mass of Darkness."
The primary objective behind this tactile sculptural installation is to
provide individuals with vision loss the opportunity to experience art in a
meaningful way. The installation is designed to be explored in a total
darkness setting, offering a unique sensory experience to the audience.
I am writing to extend an invitation to your esteemed organization
management and the blind/visually impaired individuals you support. I would
be honored if you could join us at the exhibition opening, which is
scheduled to take place at D-Light Studio (Dublin 1) from the 12th to the
15th of October 2023.
Furthermore, I am keen on organizing interviews with individuals who have
vision loss, seeking their valuable feedback on their interactions with the
sculptural installation. These interviews would be recorded and showcased
during the exhibition opening, therefore I would be grateful if a meeting
could be arrange in September.Here I will bring the sculptural installation
and record the feedback for those who are willing to be involved.
