Hi folks
It's time to put on your walking shoes and start training for the Dundalk
walking challenge.
The Weekend has been booked for Friday the 14th of June to Sunday 16th. The
venue is the popular Carrickdale Hotel situated seven miles from Dundalk in
a very picturesque area, on the border of Louth, Down and Armagh.
Due to the recent VAT increase we had to raise the cost by a small amount
for the first time in nine years. The cost of the Weekend is now 149 Euro
per person sharing. Please note There is a single room supplement of 20 Euro
per night bringing the total for a single room to 189 Euro and these rooms
are limited, so please share where possible. These rooms will be allocated
on a first come bases. rooms can facilitate up to three people.
The cost includes transport from train station to hotel on the Friday, bus
for walk and return to train station on the Sunday. It also includes two
nights b and b and a gala dinner Saturday evening. I think you will all
agree it's the best value for your money in the Country.
To reserve a place a deposit of 60 euro non-refundable should be paid as
soon as possible. The balance has to be paid by the 31st of May. To help
with administration, it would be a great benefit to us if you could pay the
full amount up front.
When booking indicate if you require a guide for the walk, as guides need
plenty of notice.
How to pay. Make cheques payable to Pat Kelly and post to 5 Afton drive
Dundalk Co. Louth.and don't forget to put a note with your name and address.
