I received this response to a query I had about soundscape. I couldn't add
markers. I did finally get it sorted thanks to Paul.

en-GB, v4.0.0.2333)
Hi Jackie,
Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us. I am sorry to hear you are
having issues setting markers. If there is a location that you would like to
save to your markers that is not found in the search bar within Soundscape,
you can search by address or by setting the marker when you are at that
location. Within the marker you can also add annotations to be called out
that are helpful for you. The callouts you hear as you are walking from
Soundscape come from a crowd sourced mapping system, Open Street Maps. Open
Street Maps can be updated at https://www.openstreetmap.org/. We have heard ;
from users in the past that have enlisted their communities to help enrich
the maps in their areas. Unfortunately, being a small team in Research, we
are not able to update the maps for users ourselves as we have users
worldwide.
If you are finding that the search for locations in your area is inaccurate
or lacking, our search is powered by Bing Maps. In order to get Bing Maps
updated, you can send suggested edits to the Bing Maps Team directly.
How to submit feedback to Bing:
* Go to www.bing.com/maps
* Search for the place that you would like to give feedback on
* Select the "More" button (e.g., the three dots) on the place's detail
page
* Select "Suggest an Edit"
* A pop-up will appear that allows the user to input
Bing Maps also has a field to submit feedback under "Tell us what you think".
I hope this was helpful! If you have any other questions or if there is
anything else I can do to be of assistance, please let me know.
Thank you,
Emily and the Soundscape Team
